The Brisbane Astronomical
Society convened the sixth Queensland Astronomy
Education Conference (QAEC) on Saturday March 6 2010.
The conference theme was ‘Expanding the universe in the
classroom’.
Conference sessions
covered a variety of topics of interest to Primary and Junior
Secondary teachers. Refer to the programme for
information on what topics were covered on the day. The image below
is of the official opening of the conference by the Brisbane Astronomical
Society President Peter Nink.

to the Brisbane Astronomical Society.
School order forms (with a copy of this form) can be mailed to
the address on the registration form. Your school will then be
invoiced for payment.
You will receive a
email confirming your successful registration at the conference
once your application form has been processed.
